Supervision for Psychotherapists and Counsellors
My approach to Supervision is integrative and relational. In the same way that I think of the therapeutic relationship sitting at the heart of my work as a therapist, I see the relationship between supervisor and supervisee at the heart of the supervisory process.
The co-created partnership between supervisor and supervisee offers the possibility of professional support and a safe place to reflect on and explore clinical work, to learn and be challenged, and to consider and work with a range of professional issues.
I have been working as a supervisor since 2002 and am on the UKCP Register of Supervisors. I supervise therapists and counselling psychologists working in a variety of settings, including NHS, voluntary sector and private practice, and with both long and short term work. I am experienced supervising trainee psychotherapists and counselling psychologists and am familiar liaising with training organisations and placements, where necessary. I offer both individual and small group supervision.
